Why take the PADI Boat Diver Course?
This is a great first step into the world of Tobermory dive charters. This course takes place from a boat where will complete two training dives while you practice entering and exiting the water and safely stowing your gear on board the vessel. Your PADI Instructor will also teach you about local boat diving etiquette and other boating safety procedures and lingo.

- Learn the basics about boat setup, safety equipment, and expectations of how to conduct yourself so that you are confident and knowledgeable on any dive charter boat
- Exercise various entry and exist techniques for vessels based on size and configuartion
- Practice emergency procedures in the unlikely event that you ever become separated from your dive boat
How long will it take?
The course is completed over the course of one half day with 2 boat dives.
