Why PADI Peak Performance and Buoyancy Course?
While this course may not sound as "exciting" as many other PADI courses, it will do more to improve your diving skills and increase your comfort and enjoyment during your dives than any other course. Improved byouancy skills will allow you to carry less weight and focus much more of your attention on the dive rather than on maintaining your buoyancy.

The first dive of this PADI Specialty course may credit as an Adventure Dive toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – ask your PADI Instructor about earning credit.
What will I learn?
During the two training dives, you will learn how to master the following skills:
- Determine the exact weight you need to dive on any given day with the gear you are using, so you are not too light or too heavy
- Trim your weight system and scuba gear so that you become perfectly balanced in the water
- Streamline yourself to save energy, use your air supply more efficiently and move more smoothly through the water
- Hover effortlessly in any position – vertical or horizontal
